Personal Biography:

I was born and raised in the beautiful state of Colorado and moved to Winston-Salem to attend Wake Forest for my undergraduate degree. After graduating, I started as a medical scribe here at Twin City Pediatrics! In my two and a half years as a scribe, I got to learn all about the inner workings of a healthcare clinic while also witnessing the magic of watching children grow up. While I always knew that I loved kids from years of babysitting and working at youth camps, working at TCP really cemented the idea that this is what I wanted for my future.

I then applied to Wake Forest for Physician Assistant (PA) school and was honored to be accepted into the Emerging Leaders Program where I obtained a Masters in Management with a specialization in healthcare leadership from the School of Business before heading to PA school. So, I guess that makes me a triple Deac!!

As a Type 1 Diabetic, I have a special interest in providing support for other diabetic children and their families. I am absolutely thrilled to be back at Twin City Pediatrics where I can hopefully make the overwhelming world of medicine a little less scary for the kids and families that trust us with their care.

In my free time, I love to read, cook/bake, play tennis, and spend time exploring nature. I also love to travel both in the US to see family in Colorado or California and on adventures abroad.
