Schedule an appointment at either of our two pediatric offices in Winston Salem or Clemmons.
Our office hours and guidelines for scheduling and canceling appointments are listed below.
Office Hours
Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm at both offices
Evening After Hours Clinic Monday-Thursday from 5:00 to 6:00-7:00pm (Clemmons office only. Please call same day prior to 6:00pm to schedule. Later appointments available seasonally, based on demand. Closed most holidays. For established patients only).
Weekend After Hours Clinic Saturday &Sunday 9:00am to 12:00pm (Maplewood office in Winston-Salem only - for established patients for sick visits only).
Please note there is an additional charge for After Hours appointments that may not be covered by insurance.
As a courtesy to all of our patients, please call ahead to schedule appointments and arrive on time for your appointment so that we may keep waiting time to a minimum. New patients should arrive at least 15 minutes before their scheduled appointment to complete necessary medical history forms. We do not offer a walk-in clinic.
Scheduling an Appointment Online
Use this MyChart link for online appointment scheduling. You may schedule sick visits (New problem visit), Well Child Check-ups, Follow up visits, and Flu Vaccine visits.
We have nurses available 24 hours a day to provide advice to parents. Call our nurse line at 336.718.3960 if you have ANY QUESTION as to whether or not your child's problem can wait until morning. Call us IMMEDIATELY for any of the following problems:
a) YOUR CHILD IS UNDER 2 MONTHS OLD AND HAS A RECTAL TEMPERATURE OF 100.4 OR GREATER
b) YOUR CHILD, REGARDLESS OF AGE, IS WHEEZING OR HAVING TROUBLE BREATHING
c) YOU ARE IN ANY WAY UNSURE WHETHER YOUR CHILD'S CONDITION CAN WAIT UNTIL MORNING QUICK SICK CLINIC.
TCP Late Arrival Policy:
Pending provider discretion, if you arrive more than 10 minutes after your appointment time you may be asked to reschedule your appointment. We will attempt to reschedule your appointment for the same day if there is availability. This may require you to see a different provider than you were originally scheduled to see. If our schedules are full, you may be asked to reschedule on another day.
TCP Weekend Clinic Policy:
Please note that our weekend and Holiday visits are for sick visits and follow up appointments only for established Twin City Pediatric patients (not new patients).

What should you do if your child is sick on the weekend?
If your child is significantly ill, please do not hesitate to schedule an appointment.
If you are unsure if your child should be seen in clinic, call us! As always, our nurse answering service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to offer advice on ways you may be able to help your child feel better at home and help determine if and when your child needs to be evaluated in clinic.
Our goal is to see children with urgent illnesses on the weekends so that all of the patients who need us that day can get an appointment.
Also, please be aware for After Hours visits in evenings or and on weekends, we charge an after-hours fee that may or may not be covered by your insurance provider.

Confirmation and Cancellation
You will receive a phone call from our appointment reminder system, reminding you of your upcoming appointment. If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment, please call our office 24 hours in advance. Your phone call is critical in helping us provide continuous care to all of our valued patients. If you should fail to give us notice of your cancellation, the following policy will be applied:
First missed appointment: No charge
Second missed appointment: $25 charge
Third missed appointment: $25 charge and possible dismissal from Twin City Pediatrics.
